Serving like Jesus begins with seeing people like Jesus did. In this sermon, Ryan challenges us to see the need, feel the need, and meet the need, recognizing that God may be calling us to become the answer to the very prayers we’re praying.
What does it really mean to serve like Jesus? Before heading out into the community for our Great Day of Service, we looked at the difference between being a consumer and having the heart of a servant. Jesus gave up His privileges, humbled Himself, and came not to be served, but to serve. As His followers, we’re called to do the same, even when serving costs us something.
