When life feels uncertain, discouraging, or painful, where can we find a hope that lasts? In the opening message of our Reasons series, we begin walking through 1 Peter and discover five reasons Christians can have hope, even when circumstances seem hopeless.

Peter reminds us that we are part of God’s kingdom, have been given new life through Jesus, are protected by God’s power, can find meaning even in suffering, and know the good news of God’s plan of salvation. Our hope isn’t based on everything going right. It is a living hope rooted in Jesus Christ.
