In this follow-up to the Rewind series, Wes explains that following Jesus is not meant to stay in the “exploring” stage. Using Acts 2, he shows that the early church moved from simply hearing the gospel to fully engaging in a life with Christ. They devoted themselves to four key practices: Scripture, fellowship, worship, and prayer. These were not side activities. They were the foundation of a growing and active faith.
The message challenges believers to do the same today. Wes emphasizes that spiritual growth happens when we dig into God’s Word, build real relationships with other Christians, worship together consistently, and depend on God through prayer. He closes by reminding the church that following Jesus is not a solo journey. It is a life of active commitment, daily growth, and humble dependence on God.
